Well, Imagine That!

Vacation on a beach, with sunny skies, blue oceans, and warm sand squishing under your toes. Luxurious days, warm nights, not a worry in the world. It’s just a thought away…

Or…maybe not so much?

If this sounds great, but you really ‘can’t’ imagine that, then maybe it’s time for an Imagination makeover, and you can do it with the right tools.

Sometimes we come to a place where change is needed and wanted, and right now is the time. You feel it and imagine it and it can be yours with these tools.

Your Ideal Beach: An Imagination Exercise

In this exercise of imagination, we are going to use it, and let it take us where we want to go. It is your imagination that eventually produces your reality, so begin today to imagine positive thoughts about yourself and your life.

First, imagine that your mind is a warehouse, like one that sits along the dock of an ocean shipyard. It is time to clean out the warehouse and put on new coats of optimism. Repair broken wirings of thought. Rebuild the shelves of information that have kept you captive in the subconscious mind.

This is where you begin.

Release the past, the present, and the future. Total release, by using your imagination and feelings to help you achieve your goals.

Wherever and whenever you can be comfortable and relaxed, take a few moments to practice this following exercise. Start with a simple goal you have been working toward. Let’s say you would like to go on vacation to a wonderful place by the sea.

Imagine what it looks like to you. Daydream about it. Take a few seconds on each image:

  1. The ocean. Imagine you are watching a pelican contemplating the water as it sparkles like diamonds. It is a deep color of blue and is at times crystallized and at times softly moving with the waves. You feel that this is one of the most peaceful moments you have had in a long time. The ocean has many secrets. You imagine what they might be. The pelican has secrets, too.
  2. The sun. It is warm, not too hot, and a few puffy clouds are drifting in front of the sun. It feels good on your skin. You sit for a few moments and let the rays sink into your being. You feel cozy and perfect. It is a dreamy kind of feeling.
  3. The sounds. Seagulls and other birds are flying around. They are fishing. They are catching fish! You feel happy for them. They chatter and you imagine they are talking about their catch with each other.
  4. The taste. You taste the salty air on your mouth. It smells and tastes delicious, like the salty sea. You love it. It feels incredible, fresh, and healthy.
  5. The feelings. All of it together makes you feel wonderful! Relaxed! Joyous! This is a treat and well deserved! You feel happy!

This exercise shows you how to imagine with feeling. As you practice this, embellish it with your imagination. Use any vacation spot in which you have wonderful memories. These thoughts will go into your subconscious mind and become a goal with feeling behind it. And when the time is right, this dream will manifest for you with perfect results.
