Stellar U: The Theta Brainwave
Steve Jobs used it, Ophra Winfrey used it, Richard Branson used it, and over time thousands of successful men and women have relied on their intuition to help them make decisions.
Trust Your Gut
Although you may or may not get a feeling in your ‘gut’ when intuition awakens you, there's a definite all-knowing answer to your questions, and it is a total-body experience.
Not only do you know by your intuition the correct thing to do that will advance your goals, but you will also feel it in your body.
Even the rich and famous trust their gut instinct.
Theta Brainwaves and Your Intuition
The secret to accessing your intuition lies in understanding your brain and your theta brainwave activity. What are theta brain waves? These are the brainwaves that activate in that peaceful, meditative state. They are ones connected to “creativity, intuition, daydreaming, and fantasizing."
It is very important to understand this state of consciousness. It is not a mentally active state, but a passive state in which we ‘allow’ our theta brainwave to open the gates of intuition to you. You can speed this process up by actively participating in opening this door. According to Healthline:
Theta brainwaves occur when you’re sleeping or dreaming, but they don’t occur during the deepest phases of sleep. They may occur when you’re drifting off to sleep or suspended in that light phase of sleep, just before you wake up. Theta brain waves can also occur when you’re awake, but in a very deep and relaxed state of mind; a state that some may describe as AUTOPILOT. However, if you experience high levels of theta waves while you’re awake, you might feel sluggish or scattered. Experts believe that theta waves are important for processing information and making memories. And, as researchers learn more about how they are linked to the process of learning, this knowledge may come in handy when determining the best way to help people learn.
Theta brainwaves play a significant role in our creative thinking, intuition, and accessing deeper levels of consciousness. They are also associated with vivid dreaming and the integration of memories.
For mental health, theta brainwaves help us to relax and chill out. When we use self-help techniques such as meditation or practicing affirmations, we can experience a calm, receptive state of consciousness that is receptive to intuition. In this situation, you are actively participating with theta brainwave activity.
Within our intuitive faculties, we experience instant knowledge that does not require anything other than knowing.
Highly successful business people, artists, musicians and writers access the state of theta frequently. Because of this, intuition flows freely and allows the person to create magnificent works of art and wealthy business deals.
It is also important to recognize that when brainwaves are “dysregulated” the exact opposite of the benefits occur; there can be issues with memories and poor attention span. When theta waves are not functioning at the highest levels, this can manifest as a lost connection to the subconscious mind and can promote poor or disrupted growth.
Accessing Your Theta Brainwave
Step 1: Set up a place in your office or home where you are alone, quiet, and uninterrupted. Focus your attention at the spot between the eyebrows. This is known as the third eye center and is an ancient method of focusing for success.
Step 2: As you quieten the mind and body, be aware of a stillness enveloping your body. Visualize a candle flickering in your mind’s eye. Watch the light from the candle, and as it flickers, allow it to increase in size and fill your mind with a beautiful soothing light.
Step 3: Ask for the light of intuition to fill your mind. Mentally state that you are now receiving information from your Intuition that will answer questions you have about the success of your projects.
Step 4: Now, further the association with your Intuition and let your mind accept the answers you need to make decisions. Be willing to listen to all ideas that now come into focus. Be especially aware of new ideas, thoughts, and concepts that you may have not yet considered.
Step 5: After your session with intuition, relax and let the wisdom of your intuition filter through to your conscious and subconscious
Remember:
You can access and use your theta brainwave for better memory, higher intuition, and practicing trusting your gut instincts.
Through meditation, surrender to your higher intuition, and using your instincts about other people and your desires, will lead you to success.
Also, a more relaxed mind that is confident of why and what you are doing serves you as better mental and physical health.
When you are in control, you feel more confident and self-aware and are better able to help yourself, your company, your family and the world.
